Meet our Founder, Laurie
Laurie J. Earp, Ph.D. (h.c.), Principal
Laurie has lived to make positive change. In 1990, she began her professional path in the nonprofit and political worlds as a vehicle for such change. Earning a Master’s Degree in Non-profit Management in 1994, Laurie opened her firm in 1996 and the building of her clientele with then-Assemblymember Barbara Lee and has not looked back since.

In addition to her on-hands event planning & fundraising work, Laurie loves mentoring and inspiring the next generation of fundraisers and event planners. She does this through formal mentorship and her participation as a Speaker in Conferences, serving as a Guest Lecturer at Universities throughout the Bay Area and for organizations around the country, as well as a faculty member for the last nine years in SFSU's Non-Profit Management Department as well as in their Conference & Meeting Planning Department. Laurie also writes about fundraising and served as Guest Editor for the Grassroots Fundraising Journal’s “Special Events” Issue.
